St Francis

Just a few thoughts

·       May the Church learn from Pope Francis how to have the simplicity of St Francis, a love of the poor, respect for creation and sincerity in prayer.

·       We pray for the people of Australia, whether ancient inhabitants or modern migrants. May the upcoming referendum on the Voice unite the nation in service of justice, respect and recognition

·       We pray for young people facing both economic hardship and ecological crisis. May they have the support they need to face these challenges to their mental health.

The Signs Of The Times

Ø "When we listen to each other, outcomes improve.
"I've learned the hard way — over a lifetime of community work, day after day, year after year, decade after decade, that listening makes it possible.
"I have observed both the fundamental power of listening and the devastating consequences of wilful deafness.
"I've learned that listening makes it possible." – N Pearson
