All Souls Day - All who see the Son and believe in him may have eternal life; and I will raise them up on the last day."

Just a few thoughts

C  What a great idea to have been presented in church with an “All Saints” memorial – a candle, a prayer and a rosemary twig. Thank you very much to the parishioners who organised this.

C  Wasn’t it uplifting to have such a multicultural gathering at Mass, especially this time the new volunteers for the Readings. Then the Zambesian hymn for the Offertory - Jesu, Tawa Pano
My reason for drawing attention to this is the fact that most of us only know European saints! Many saints come from all around the world.

C  Regarding the Abortion Bill – It struck me that the Sunday Mail had a double page stating the case in favour of this Bill. There was no space for an alternative opinion. Very sad and worrying.
It struck me that the issue of killing an unborn baby is being presented as a freedom of choice for women.
Isn’t the pregnancy a responsibility that needs to be borne by the woman and her partner?

C  The Archbishop’s letter  - Please do let Members of Parliament know your opinion urgently.
