The Essence

Just a few thoughts

·        We unite in prayer on the eve of the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Glasgow, motivated by the words of Pope Francis and 40 leaders of faith, spoken on the Feast of St Francis, patron of the environment. “Future generations will never forgive us if we miss the opportunity to protect our common home. We have inherited a garden, we must not leave a desert for our children.”

·        "Aging is not lost youth but a new stage of opportunity and strength."  --  -- Betty Friedan

·        “Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless.  --  Dietrich Bonhoeffer
