security may realize, through this annual Anti-Poverty Week, that they have a
serious obligation to come to the aid of the poor. -- Lord,
hear us.

For the leaders of nations, that they will take
the decisive steps needed to deal with the climate crisis and protect the
earth, our common home. -- Let us pray to the Lord.
