Lord let your mercy be upon us, as we place our trust in you

Just a few thoughts

From the Plenary Council

T  The voices of the abuse victims are not being heard in current responses to the Royal Commission.

T  Unless the Church meets this issue head on its reputation, standing will remain without credibility

T  Thursday’s session was a closed one due to the very sensitive, emotional situations being shared.

T  Women’s role in the Church needs profound examination – it is no longer optional.

T  The adoption of Uluru Statement should be supported; it is a matter of justice beyond the political.

T  The abuse scandal is the worst thing that could possibly happen to the Church. Nothing else in the future can possibly be worse!

T  Australian Women Preach

T  As Pope Francis repeatedly states – No participation without vaccination! Apparently some small number of our priests are still not vaccinated
