through his people.

It is not easy being a conscientious Catholic in
an age of political tribalism.

The church’s passion for justice arises not only
from its moral certainty, but even more from its solidarity with those who are
suffering.
Reflection
ü This is a story for
the Church of today. If we are not “producing the goods,” others will. Many
people, experiencing lack of community and spiritual support in their parishes,
are looking to new religions and cults for support.
