May our communities continue to be centres of belonging and connection

Just a few thoughts

·        May Pope Francis, celebrating his 85th birthday today, continue to be filled with the vigor of the Holy Spirit and be blest with good health.

·        For all whose words and actions are good news for others, that their lives will be a leaven of love in our wounded world.

·        Tranmere Vinnies have packed Christmas Hampers for 32 families. May families which are divided or hurting at this time of the year, be given the blessing of healing and peace.

Reflection

ü It is a tormented history that leads us to Mary and Jesus and the stable at Bethlehem.

ü Jesus fully entered our human condition, with all its virtues and vices.

Musical Reflection

¯ In the mid 1990s the Tranmere Parish Choir featured some wonderful talents. Do you remember Ferry, the medical student?  He sang “O Holy Night”  Our guitarist, Neale, recorded it using his home recording equipment.

¯ Here I Am, Lord
