What incredibly sad news we heard last night in
the news. Hutt Street Centre, Catherine House Women’s Shelter and
the Vinnies
Men’s Crisis Centre have all lost state government funding, due to a change
in policy that obviously has not allowed for a considered transition plan. It
is shocking news.
Why is it that governments always seem to target the most vulnerable
people?
