"Go and tell John [the Baptist] what you have seen and heard: the blind receive their sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, the poor have good news brought to them.

Just a few thoughts

·         As we prepare to celebrate the birth of the One who comes, let us remember that the work of Jesus to liberate the lame, the deaf, the blind, the poor, the ostracised – in every sense of those words – still needs to be done and that it is the responsibility of each one of us to make our own contribution. And let us pray to be liberated from the blindness, deafness, dumbness and paralysis that prevents us from making that contribution to the building of the Kingdom.

·         Some other things that have preoccupied me – Our governments are struggling to understand the important things relating to a healthy society, while obsessed with things relating to money and economics.
The C-Virus epidemic has made it clear that a healthy community is more important!
Money has been spent in vast quantities to illustrate that point.
So why isn’t money being spent on those community issues that keep on diminishing us – the poor, the unemployed, the disadvantaged, the refugees………..!

God wants us to be with them!!!

·         152 000 000 000 tonnes of ice were lost between Sep 2019 and Aug 2020.
