God’s persistence in calling out to us

Just a few thoughts

·        “In matters of style, swim with the current; in matters of principle, stand like a rock.” -- Thomas Jefferson

·        May all who have been clothed in Christ through baptism in this church and parish retain that garment of integrity all through their lives.

·        We pray for those remembered in United Nations observances this week – victims of terrorism (21 August), religious violence (22 August) and human trafficking (23 August) – that the trauma they have suffered will give way to freedom, healing and peace
