·        Parish Annual General Meeting this Sunday after Mass. It might have been nice if an agenda including some topics for discussion had been made available to parishioners.

·        International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer – as part of our Season of Creation – may it heighten the commitment of nations to face climate change with a clear vision and firm commitment.

·        Pilgrimage to Country walk
The Diocesan Council for Integral Ecology is organising a walk on Sunday 18thSeptember from McKillop Plaza to Pakapakanthi wetlands in Victoria Park. The launch of the diocese’s Laudato Si Action Platform, committing to Uluru and Voice referendum, and celebrate the Season of Creation theme of “Listen to Creation”. …See details in the Southern Cross- page 12
