A preferential option WITH the poor

Just a few thoughts

·       We must allow Indigenous-led organisations to lead change and share their knowledge of what works and what needs to be done. This is not a new concept! Even in the 1970s this was understood.

·       "Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day." -- Sally Koch

·       Our ministry of being a Church for the poor means that we will bring justice with mercy to those in need.

·       Instead of a preferential option for the poor, should we not like to see the church make a preferential option with the poor.
