We pray for nations with nuclear arms, that the
remembrance of Hiroshima on the feast of the Transfiguration will urge them to
renounce their use forever.

We pray that the peace movement throughout the
world may gain momentum as people accept that war is no solution to the world’s
problems and is always a terrible evil.
