·        We pray for the residents of all aged care facilities, that they will be treated with respect, properly nourished and cared for with compassion.

·        May those who are frightened, who suffer from depression and other mental illnesses at elevated levels during this coronavirus pandemic, take heart from the words of Jesus: “It is I. Do not be afraid.”

Lest We Forget

Just a few thoughts

·        For the 1st time the Adelaide ANZAC Dawn Service will be led by indigenous members of the forces.

·        The Anzacs were all volunteers, there was no conscription. Men would travel far and wide to sign up as it was seen as a courageous and brave act to fight for your country. (The British Empire)

·        May this Anzac Day strengthen the ties between Australia and New Zealand, and help both nations to work for peace in the world.
