Australia Day

As the Australia Day website proudly proclaims:
Celebrate what's great!
We are certainly a very lucky country to be as well off as we are.
The latest studies show that the average Australian is wealthier than the average citizen from any other country!
How much of that wealth comes at the cost of extreme poverty in other nations?
Catholic bishops have released statements at this time to reflect on an issue that shames us.
Bishops call for humane approach toward asylum seekers
