Just a few thoughts

• We pray for the people of Russia and the Russian Orthodox Church who honour St Basil as a patron saint, that they may be partners with the rest of the Christian Church in healing past differences, and being committed to making peace with the people of Ukraine.

• We pray for the First Nations people of Australia. May the terrible toll of indigenous deaths in custody prompt urgent and effective action by responsible authorities.
