Do Not Be Afraid

Just a few thoughts

·        "Man does not control his own fate. The women in his life do that for him." -- Groucho Marx

·        May governments who give their approval to the abuse and torture of prisoners change their evil policies, and learn to treat everyone with respect.

·        We pray for the staff and volunteers of humanitarian agencies, especially those serving the millions of people displaced in Sudan, that they alleviate much suffering while being kept safe themselves.

Reflections

ü We are not just disciples, we are recipients of mercy, love, grace, and dignity.

ü God’s love for us is outrageous.

ü God makes “peace through the blood of his cross” while our world tries to make peace through the blood of soldiers and innocent civilians. – Sunday reflection
